Dubai/Shirva: USWAS-SHIRVA is gearing up to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2027 with a series of cultural, social welfare, educational and community initiatives under the banner of Silver Jubilee – RUPYOTSAV 2027.

The year-long celebrations will commence with the Silver Jubilee Curtain Raiser and Shirva Fest on February 6, 2027, in Dubai. The highlight of the celebrations will be the grand RUPYOTSAV event scheduled for October 2, 2027, at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai. The celebrations will conclude with a finale on December 19, 2027, at the Church Open Grounds in Shirva.

A range of programmes has been planned throughout the year, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to education, healthcare, youth development and social responsibility. The schedule includes the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the USWAS Silver Jubilee House and the distribution of equipment at MANASA Rehabilitation & Training Centre, Pamboor, in January.

Other initiatives include the USWAS Silver Jubilee Cricket Trophy in Dubai in March, a blood donation campaign in April, and a career guidance and leadership development programme for youth in Shirva in May. The Sharan D’Souza Memorial Scholarship Distribution is scheduled for June, followed by Senior Citizens’ Day in July and a health and medical camp in Shirva in August. The Monthi Fest Celebration will be held in Dubai in September.

Following the main Silver Jubilee event in Dubai on October 2, the organisation plans to conduct a community picnic in November and the UPL Day-and-Night Cricket Tournament in Shirva on December 11. The concluding celebrations will take place in Shirva on December 19. Christmas outreach programmes at an old-age home and an orphanage are also planned for December 25.

The Silver Jubilee initiatives aim to bring members and well-wishers together while extending support to students, young people, senior citizens and other sections of society. Through educational assistance, healthcare activities, sports, cultural programmes and charitable outreach, USWAS-SHIRVA seeks to make its 25th anniversary a meaningful milestone in its journey.

The celebrations will honour the organisation’s 25 years of service and dedication while renewing its commitment to community welfare, unity and social development.

RUPYOTSAV 2027 will thus mark not only a celebration of the past 25 years but also a renewed commitment to serving the community in the years ahead.
