Frankfurt: Konkanikutam e.V. Germany successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Holy Cross Church, Frankfurt, bringing together members and families for a day marked by reflection, celebration, and community spirit.
The event began with a Family Mass celebrated in the vibrant spirit of
Traditional Fasching, Germany’s Carnival season. The festive atmosphere
was enhanced by children dressed in colorful and creative costumes,
adding joy and liveliness to the gathering.
Following fellowship and lunch, the AGM was held in person, reinforcing
the association’s commitment to transparency and unity. President Keeth
Noronha welcomed the members and expressed appreciation for their
continued support and active participation.
Vice President Allen Cutino presented a comprehensive review of the
association’s activities and achievements over the past year. Secretary
Praveen Serrao outlined the vision and upcoming initiatives, while
Treasurer Priya Lobo provided a detailed report on the financial status,
thanking the previous Core Team, extended team members, and
volunteers for their dedicated service.
Cultural Secretary Steffi Pereira and Joint Secretary Nandan Dsouza
shared updates on forthcoming programs and preliminary plans for 2026,
reflecting the association’s forward-looking approach.
The AGM concluded with a vote of thanks by President Keeth Noronha.
The day ended on a cheerful note with a traditional “Housie” game,
fostering camaraderie and celebration among attendees.
The event once again highlighted the strong unity, cultural pride, and
community commitment of Konkanikutam e.V. Germany.
